An alumnus of the University of the East College of Dentistry, Dr. Cabauatan also earned his special trainings for Oral Dentistry at the University of the Philippines College of Dentistry (UPCD), and his further trainings for Orthodontics from DACI.

An active member of the International Association of Orthodontics, the Philippine Dental Association, and PDA Malabon-Navotas Chapter, Dr. Cabauatan is fueled by his own mother’s dream to be a dentist herself. He also draws inspirations from his seasoned seniors, professors, and mentors. He desires to sharpen more his expertise by looking into further post-graduate studies to continue to perform superior and state-of-the-art dental care services.

A graduate of the renowned University of the East College of Dentistry, Dr. Bernal worked diligently thus earning citations in Pediatric Externship Program from the Philippine Children’s Medical Center, and Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association. She continues to enhance her proficiency through special trainings at the Biochemical Institute for Orthodontics.

Despite having intrinsic motivation to excel in her profession, Dr. Bernal appreciates working with first-rate colleagues who are instrumental to her careerwise, and experienced mentors who create meaningful impact in her life.

Seeing the huge need to elevate the importance of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Bernal finds great fulfilment and pleasure treating not only kids but also patients with special needs. It’s her joy to root out her patients’ dental aches and replace them with beaming beautiful smiles. Being fervent and feisty in her field of expertise, Dr. Bernal chose not just the challenging and difficult path of Pediatric Dentistry, but she also seeks to specialize in Interceptive Orthodontics and Cosmetic Dentistry as well.

Dr. Irma Medrano finished dentistry in the University of the East and has taken TMJ (Temporomandibular joint disorder) as her field of expertise. She gained her knowledge and experience from Asia-America Academy and Functional Orthodontics and TMJ. She is also currently associated with Parañaque Dental Society.

Her cousin who is also a doctor, became her role model in becoming the doctor that she is today. She enjoys making her patients happy especially after treatment doing direct laminates. She likes to go the extra mile and provide an outstanding service that will make patients at Dental World Manila highly satisfied.

She is interested in doing seminars regarding Restorative Dentistry since it is her goal to be specialized in this field as well. Her plan is to put up her own dental supply.

Dr. Genelyn Calixto is a graduate of University of the East – Manila in 1992. She had her preceptorship course in TMJ-Othodontics under Dr. Lolita Fandialan who pinoneered Temporomandibular Dysfunction Treatment in the Philippines and worked closely with the same from 1993 to 1998.

She is also a founding member of Philippine Association of Functional Jaw Orthopedics (PAFJO).

Since 1998, she has concentrated her practice in TMJ-Orthodontics and has been active in attending seminars related to TMJ and Orthodontics. She completed the University of the Philippines’ Temporomandibular Disorders and Orofacial Pain Program (UP TOPP).

Dr. Agustin Mendoza is a graduate of University of the East in 1997. He was very passionate in his chosen profession and has his artistic side the he uses in restoring the smile of his patients.

Dr. Mary Ann Alatraca earned her dental degree from the University of the East College of Dentistry. Throughout her career, she has worked both in the dental field and the corporate world. Aside from practising general dentistry, her professional experiences include management and administration gained from the business process outsourcing industry, global management corporations and her family’s business. 

Being in charge of an entire company’s operations is daunting but she believes that the only way to do great work is to love what you do.

Already determined to become a dentist from when he was very young, Dr. Malony Lopez Santos aims to provide the best technologies and practices in the industry for his patients. The sophisticated instruments, materials and equipment he had seen and experienced at dental clinics when he was a boy had inspired him to pursue the discipline. These had also fueled a lifelong passion for learning and adapting the latest innovations, especially now that he himself has become one of the Philippines’ foremost dentists.

Graduating from Centro Escolar University (CEU) in Manila in 1994, Dr. Santos took his dental externship at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center (VMMC). He finished preceptorship courses at the Asian-American Academy of Functional Orthodontics and TMJ in 1996 and at the Philippine Academy of Esthetic Dentistry in 2004. By 2007, he had completed a 14-month course on Osseointegration Implants under the Philippine Society of Osseointegration.

Dr. Santos had also attended implant training under the IMTEC SENDAX Mini Dental Implant System in 2005. Since 2003, he has been an affiliate of St. Luke’s Medical Center’s Department of Dentistry and Oral Surgery, completing post-graduate courses in Periodontics in 2004 and 2009.

Through the years, Dr. Santos has focused his practice on Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry, Oral Surgery, TMJ, and Orthodontics. He finds great fulfillment in being able to replace missing teeth of patients and bring back dentition and dental functions to top form as well as relieve debilitating discomfort. And for him, giving patients the best smile they can have through various cosmetic treatments lends rewarding satisfaction. The best service he is proud to provide, alongside his diligent associates and staff, is helping patients gain great confidence and self-esteem.

To further enhance the services of Dental World Manila with him at the helm, Dr. Malony is planning to take a Master’s program on Prosthodontics and Implantology abroad. He also hopes to open 3 or 4 more branches of Dental World.
